Prototype 1
The first prototype was designed to go up the stairs just like a vualter gets over a vault. with the front mottors spinning around the vaults the ideas was that the robot you carry itself up and over the stairs. The end result was that my robot sadly made it up one step and then fell down... Some things i might do differently would be to create more power using gears strenghten the front and back flippers and making the back flippers more longer.

State the assignment (problem/project) in your own words.
- The goal of the assignment was to design and build a robot that goes upstairs.
What are your input factors? (What do you need to know or do before you can begin?) Include the research did you do and where?
- What i did was think of how to build a robot and designed how it would be and then built it. I dont cheat and look at other robots. my robot is my idea no ones elses.
Describe the process in detail Explain the steps you followed in order to complete the project..
- I built my robot and contiuesly tested it and added few imporments intill my robot succeded.
Describe the final output / product in detail: (what are we looking at?)
- The final outcome was my robot did not succeded... and only made it up one step.
Describe feedback you received during the project (suggestions, comments, etc). From peers and the instructor. How did you use this feedback to correct issues with your project?
- Mr. Crole told me that i should add gears to the robot to make it stronger other wise it would have enough power to lift itslef up the stairs.
What did you learn during the assignment such as tools, skills, design concepts, software, hardware, etc. Where else could you use what you learned? How can you apply what you learned in other projects, areas, courses, assignments or outside school?
- I learned that a simple movment of walking up stairs takes a lot of work, also i taught me how to build a robot to pick its own body weight up and cary it up the stairs.
If you were to do the project again, what would you do differently and why? Provide reasons and examples
- Maybe make the stairs easier and smaller. or have different size steps for robots to compete with.
